How to read this page
What's the difference between gainers and most active?▾
Gainers are ranked by % return (today, week, etc.). Most Active is ranked by traded value (price × volume) and surfaces the stocks the market is actually trading the most, regardless of direction.
What does "Most Volatile" mean?▾
We compute the intraday range as (Day High − Day Low) / Price × 100 and sort descending. High volatility usually means news, earnings, or thin liquidity.
Why are some sectors dominating gainers / losers?▾
Sector rotation is normal. When a theme (banks, IT, metals) moves, several names move together. The Market Pulse strip highlights the day's best and worst sectors.
What's the 52-week high / low breaker?▾
Stocks within 3% of their 52w extreme. "Near 52W High" often indicates strong momentum; "Near 52W Low" can indicate breakdown or value.
How often is the data updated?▾
1-day data is cached for 5 minutes. Weekly and longer periods are cached for 30 minutes. All quotes come from Yahoo Finance and are delayed by ~15 minutes from NSE.
What time period should I look at?▾
Today shows intraday action. 1W–1M captures swing trends. 3M–YTD–1Y reflects positional moves. 5Y shows long-term winners and structural laggards.
